An Israeli officer stopped a Palestinian violinist at a roadblock near Nablus and made him “play something sad,” while soldiers stood around and ridiculed him (this provoked an outrage among Israelis because it was reminiscent of Jewish musicians in concentration camps being forced to provide background music to mass murder).
